Introducing mood boards from Boeme to showcase their new range of sumptuous velvets. They speak for themselves, but we’re delving a bit deeper and offering you some colour suggestions for various decorating schemes.
Cayos, a striking pattern printed on a rich velvet, is so unbelievably dramatic but annoyingly the colours on the screen do not do it justice. The lovely vibrant greens and blues come alive paired with deep, dark coloured walls – imagine a sultry dark room with Basalt or Lamp Black covering the walls, perhaps some olive green scatter cushions for a pop of colour and for a bedroom, what better addition than some stone grey linen to bring it back down to earth.
For a sunny, south facing living room, paint the walls in Farleigh Flower by Conran, with sofas in teal or olive velvets, or go for the drama with a wall or more in Basalt by Little Greene or for an overall country scheme choose Citrine for the walls but remember to pack your sunglasses.
How about, for a gorgeously autumnal feel, pair Cayos with the earthy tones of Terracotta or Praline by Pure & Original, accessorising with the Citrine and Olive or Tumeric Velvet by Boeme.
Finally, for an uber cool urban appartment, loose the earthiness and use the greyer, calming shades of Waving Thistle and Farleigh Flower by Conran.
I am a stockiest for Boeme and Pure & Original paint.
