Interior Scheme Ideas – Boeme Bonito
Introducing mood boards from Boeme to showcase their new range of sumptuous velvets. They speak for themselves, but we’re delving a bit deeper and offering you some colour suggestions for various decorating schemes.
Boeme’s Bonito Velvet has a psychedelic feel with its fantastic whirlpools of colour, a really stand out piece even on something as small as a cushion. This fabric is just screaming to be paired with a monochrome interior scheme, so we have a couple of options for you. Either Old Thor or Darkest Tan by Conran are perfect for all over colour to create absolute drama, or a blend of the two to soften the scheme, but for the slightly more cautious these could be used for the woodwork and/or additional furniture pieces and use the perfectly neutral Seed Pod, a fabulous decorating colour as the main backdrop.
Or to create an altogether gentler and slightly more feminine look replace the Seed Pod with Peignoir by Farrow and Ball , which with will lift the space and and blend beautifully with the fabric.
For a more serious take on your home office or workspace try this combination of cool, muddy Grey Moss by Little Greene with Darkest Tarn by Conran and ground it all with the lovely Seed Pod. For that big hit of glamour, cover your office chair in Bonito velvet or make a super sumptuous roman blind. Don’t worry if this seems a little dark for a workspace, lighting, mirrors and a neutral floor will take care of that – and of course your joy at being in this beautiful space!
Lastly, not everyone would go for black walls, but why not! Try Pure & Original’s Black to really create a moody space, add silk bedding with flashes of Bohemian and dark mauve, just dreamy!
